Buildbond is an aluminium composite panel made up of two 5005 / 3005 / 3105 alloy aluminium sheets and an intermediate core made up of thermoplastic materials and non-combustible minerals.
Buildbond is available in three different cores depending on the mineral load and its incombustibility:
- Buildbond A2 – Non-combustible core
- Buildbond FR – Fire retardant core
- Buildbond PE – Low density polyethylene core
The colour coating with HDPE, PVDF or FEVE paints offers a wide range of solutions, guaranteeing the highest resistance to ageing, protection against corrosion and UV rays, as well as excellent behaviour when moulded.
Buildbond panels are available in a wide range of colours, glosses, textures, metallic, natural or anodised finishes, as requested by the customer.
