Based in Vila Verde, Braga, Alubuild has the latest and most complete production line, which produces a final product, Buildbond®, that meets the different demands of the market.
Buildbond® panels guarantee flatness, different thicknesses, textures, coatings and colours, as well as high resistance to corrosion.
Alubuild is the first Portuguese company to produce aluminium composite panels. It also has a machining and processing service centre, as well as a modern laboratory equipped with the latest technology, allowing for greater quality control. In this way, Alubuild is prepared to respond to various sectors, including architecture, corporate identity, signage and transport.
Our headquarters
Based in Vila Verde, Braga, Alubuild has the latest and most complete production line for aluminium composite panels (ACP), where it is possible to produce up to 1.5 million square metres per year, with different cores, thicknesses, textures, coatings and colours, produced to measure, according to the customer’s requirements.
Alubuild‘s industrial site features a service, machining and processing centre, a wide variety of raw materials in stock, as well as finished products for prompt delivery to the customer.
Alubuild‘s highly qualified technical service and sales department are constantly looking for and developing innovative solutions, and are at your disposal to provide specialised advice during the design, planning and on-site execution phases, from the simplest to the most complete project, making your vision a reality.
Quality
The BuildBond® panel is manufactured using a continuous and controlled process, through rigorous internal tests and quality controls, in our laboratory and in external laboratories duly qualified for this purpose.
The characteristics of the final product comply with the specifications set out in the European standards, EUROPEAN ASSESSMENT DOCUMENT (EAD 090062-00-0404) / EUROPEAN ASSESSMENT DOCUMENT (EAD 21046-00-1201).
Control, quality and traceability are fundamental and differentiating elements of Alubuild. Each Buildbond® panel has its own identification, and all the data relating to its production is stored, such as the raw materials used, the date of manufacture, etc.
In Alubuild‘s laboratory, Buildbond® composite panels undergo strict quality controls in accordance with EN 1396 and Technical Report 038.
Sustainability
Alubuild‘s philosophy is to contribute daily to a sustainable economy and future. Buildbond® panels are produced using recycled materials and renewable energy, and all components are fully recyclable.
