BB-T-SZ

BB-T-SZ is a kit system based on cassettes made of Buildbond® aluminium composite panel, designed for the installation of ventilated façades. It is a tongue-and-groove, concealed-fixing system, quick and easy to install, especially designed for façades with horizontal modulation — including curved, concave or convex surfaces — with a predominance of solid cladding and a small area of openings.

The pre-formed cassettes engage on two complementary profiles: a lower female profile and an upper male profile. The façade is built from the bottom up, so that the female profile of each cassette engages with the male profile of the cassette immediately below, making assembly particularly quick and orderly. EPDM protection gaskets between the cassettes and their profiles prevent vibration.

The substructure consists of T rails and spacers, resulting in a lighter solution that is faster to install on site. The spacers, available in various lengths, accommodate the desired insulation thickness and compensate for irregularities in the wall; thermal breaking is ensured by insulating shims placed against the vertical wall. The mechanical anchoring of the cassettes is carried out by screwing the male profiles to the vertical members, and remains fully concealed.

For each project, Alubuild’s technical department carries out the specific calculation of the substructure, defining the maximum spacing between rails and the number of fixings required.
