BB-TW-CH

BB-TW-CH is a kit system based on hung cassettes made of Buildbond® aluminium composite panel, designed for the installation of ventilated façades. It is a concealed-fixing system developed for vertical modulation, combining structural efficiency with ease and speed of assembly, ensuring consistency and performance on site.

Compared with BB-CH, this system is based on a lighter substructure of vertical rails and spacers, which speeds up installation and reduces the self-weight of the assembly. The spacers are available in various lengths to accommodate the desired insulation thickness and to compensate for irregularities in the wall, and thermal breaking is ensured by insulating shims placed between the spacers and the vertical wall. Anchoring to the wall is carried out with mechanical fixings suited to each type of substrate.

The suspension brackets are placed on the vertical members, with an EPDM part in the support area to prevent vibration. The Buildbond® cassettes rest on the suspension brackets through slots machined in the vertical returns and in the concealed stiffeners on the inner face, and are screwed or riveted through the upper returns to the vertical members, keeping the façade free of visible fixings.

For each project, Alubuild’s technical department carries out the specific calculation of the substructure, defining the maximum spacing between rails and the number of fixings required.
